HORSE RACING: Twice Over is installed as the 2/1 fav for the Coral Eclipse after the withdrawl of Sariska but there looks to be another twist in the market on the horizon….
Sariska’s withdrawl left Twice Over as 2/1 fav with Coral and Victor Chandler for Saturday’s Coral Eclipse at Sandown but now there appears to be more drama approaching.
Henry Cecil has said they do not want ground with any jar in it, meaning effectively that Twice Over will not run should the ground be declared firm at Sandown. Currently it is good to firm and the Clerk of the Course Andrew Cooper has said it is being watered daily.
It’s a situation to keep an eye on as if Twice Over is removed, Da Re Mi, currently 11/4 with Victor Chandler, will be installed as a much shorter price fav.
