GOLF BETTING: Live On Sky Sports 3: Thu from 09:30: Angus Loughran previews this week’s French Open and AT&T National and flags up his best bets for the tournaments.
Lee Westwood, beaten in a playoff by Martin Kaymer 12 months ago, has to be on the shortlist at 10/1 with Stan James for this years French Open, while US Open runner up Gregory Havret looks well over the odds at 70/1 with Skybet as he is in great form and has got some previous course form when placed here in 2005.
Ryan Moore looks the each way punt at 40/1 (Betfred) in this weeks AT&T in Pennsylvania. Had Justin Rose not thrown away a huge advantage last week it could have been 4 British winners in a row on PGA Tour and Rose at 30/1 with 888sport has to be considered again. Tiger Woods lines up here but on a par 70 course, which will not play to his strengths, he is poor value at 7/2 (Bet365). I would prefer to back him on the par 72 at St Andrews for The Open at 7/2 with Sportingbet.
