If Roberto Martinez’s side do secure a top four berth then bookies believe they’re more than capable of rubbing shoulders with Europe’s elite by qualifying for the Champions League group stage, an outcome Ladbrokes rate at 2/1.

Speaking to Betrescue, Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We still favour Arsenal for fourth as a result of the run in. Despite that we expect punters to side with Everton at the bigger price.”
He added: “The prices for Arsenal to throw it away this season and Wenger to leave this summer are closely linked. Anything other than an FA Cup victory and a top four finish will see his price to leave cut again.”
