Graeme McDowell and Miguel Angel Jimenez are the two members of Colin Montgomories European Ryder Cup Team to line up in this weeks Austrian Open and with wind and rain forecast, McDowell, The US Open Champ, looks worth backing at 8/1 outright (Ladbrokes). McDowell also looks a good bet to beat Jimenez at evens (bet365) in the 72 hole match bet.
Todd Hamilton at 50/1 is my idea of the best each way bet following a creditable 11th in last weeks KLM Dutch Open – Sportingbet offer the best odds.
The Tour Championship is next weeks big action followed by the Ryder Cup. Rather suprisingly, the recent money has been for the USA who have been backed from 7/4 to 6/4 at Betfred and Paddy Power but I still fancy Europe very strongly.
