Sat 15.00: Promotion-chasing pair Burton and Chesterfield combine at a generous 7/2 (Hills) in a League Two home double this weekend.
Earlier in the season Burton were finding victories on their own patch hard to come by and given that the Brewers away record is amongst the best in League Two, their home record in the early stages is what has prevented them opening up a lead at the top of the table.
However, Gary Rowett’s men have found some consistency in front of their own supporters and indeed in general, racking up ten matches unbeaten in all competitions and they look overpriced at 7/5 with William Hill as they prepare to entertain a Cheltenham team whose own decent run came to an end against Mansfield last time out.
Just a point behind second-placed Albion are Chesterfield and they look set to boost their promotion hopes by beating Bury. The Spireites have lost just one of their last eleven in the league and although the Shakers have shown signs of improvement of late, carding back-to-back victories, they shouldn’t trouble Paul Cook’s charges, BetVictor’s 5/6 jollies.
