Sat 15.00: Swindon (13/10, bet365), Brentford and Leyton Orient are 24/5 (BetVictor) in amn enticing League One treble on Saturday.
Patchy recent form has seen Swindon slip off the play-off pace a touch so the Robins don’t exactly look like an obvious pick on this week’s coupon, especially as they come up against fifth-placed Peterborough.
However, despite their inconsistency in general, Town have remained strong on their own patch, where they have won eight and lost just two of their eleven fixtures this term, racking up the second highest home goal tally in the division in the process and as they come up against a Posh side faltering badly at present, Swindon are worth considering.
The visitors have lost three on the spin in the league before only drawing against non-league Kidderminster in the cup last weekend and crucially Darren Ferguson’s men haven’t picked up a maximum haul on the road in League One since early October.
Meanwhile, only three teams – Leyton Orient, Walsall and Chelsea – have overcome the Robins at the County Ground in any competition so the hosts represent decent value in this one at 13/10 with bet365.
The other two selections are a touch more obvious. Top two Brentford and Leyton Orient both have winnable home fixtures this weekend, the in-form Bees 8/15 at Winner.com to see off Port Vale and the O’s a 7/10 chance at BetVictor to get the better of Carlisle.
