£25 Sunday double returns £155

Paul Ferguson has two selections from Navan for us on Sunday; Moyle Park in the 12:25 and Azorian at 1:25. Compare odds and bet.

Having won his maiden hurdle by 21 lengths three weeks ago Azorian (1:25) is taken to follow up in the Grade 2 “Monksfield Hurdle” at Navan on Sunday.

Eoin Griffin’s five-year-old was a smart bumper performer and made the perfect start to his career over jumps, pulling clear in the closing stages in the style of an exciting prospect, despite veering left at several of his hurdles.

Racing this way around is bound to suit and, though he might appreciate softer ground, he is taken to maintain his 100% record over timber.  The selection was trading at 2/1 on Saturday evening.

Earlier on the card Moyle Park (12:25) is fancied to make a winning hurdles debut in the opening maiden hurdle.

Willie Mullins’ charge beat Wrath Of Titans (a bumper winner for this column 17 days ago) in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper, when conceding 15lbs (including Jane Mangan’s 5lb claim) to the runner-up, and he can confirm the form under Ruby Walsh.

Sunday’s selections:
12:25 Navan: Moyle Park; 10/11 Betvictor
1:25 Navan: Azorian; 9/4 Coral
