Belgium booked their place at next year’s World Cup finals with an impressive victory in Croatia on Friday evening and with eight victories and a draw from their nine qualifying fixtures, it’s easy to see why Marc Wilmots’s troops are 1/5 at William Hill to get the better of Wales in Brussels.
Chris Coleman’s men, fresh from a morale-boosting triumph over Macedonia, are as high as 17/1 with BetVictor to cause an upset and bet365 post 13/2 against a stalemate but it’s hard to see past the talented hosts even though they have already qualified.

Over in Dublin, Ireland look to end their unsuccessful qualification bid on a high as they entertain Kazakhstan. Noel King’s team are just 4/11 with Paddy Power to secure all three points against a Kazakh side that doesn’t tend to travel well and as the visitors have only managed five goals in nine Group C contests – three of those coming against the Faroe Islands – Coral’s 11/10 for the Irish to combine victory with a clean sheet looks a safe bet.
Fresh from their 1-1 draw in Portugal meanwhile, Israel should have too much for Northern Ireland in Tel Aviv, where the hosts are BetVictor’s 8/15 jollies.
