Sat 15.00: The huge League Two clash at Fleetwood looks set to be drawn (5/2, BetVictor) while Northampton stand out.
There’s no doubting that the stand out fixture in League Two this weekend comes at Highbury, where second-placed Fleetwood entertain leaders Chesterfield.
Only one point separates the two sides in the standings but there could be absolutely nothing between them in terms of the scoreline as the referee brings the mouthwatering, top-of-the-table showdown to an end on Saturday evening.
The hosts, Skybet’s 5/4 favourites, come into the contest in slightly better shape given that the Spireites have suffered a slight wobble in the league in their last two but Graham Alexander’s troops have also lost two of their five home matches, including the last one, so they aren’t invincible on their own patch.
These factors however, can ultimately cancel each other out and although Paul Cook’s team arguably look a touch high at 13/5 (bet365), it’s BetVictor’s 5/2 about it finishing all square that gets the nod.
Elsewhere, for bolder punters, struggling Northampton appear a touch overpriced at 3/1 with Betfred as they head to Oxford. The table suggests this is a home banker but the U’s haven’t performed well at the Kassam Stadium this term while the Cobblers picked up a morale boosting away success at Wimbledon last time out and at the very least Aidy Boothroyd’s charges are worth considering ‘Draw No Bet’ at 7/4 (Coral).
Finally, Boylesports rate Mansfield at a safe-looking 20/21 as they entertain poor travellers Bristol Rovers.
Recommended Bets:
