Sat 15.00: Rotherham (6/4, bet365) look overpriced and they combine at 29/10 (bet365) with Preston in a tasty League One double.
Rotherham suffered their one and only defeat of the campaign a fortnight ago as they went down to a solitary goal against promotion-chasing Peterborough but the Millers bounced back impressively, picking up a maximum haul at Brentford last Saturday and hammering York in the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy in midweek.
Subsequently, it’s hard to fathom why Steve Evans’s sixth-placed side command a quote of as high as 6/4 with bet365 to get the better of Swindon at the New York Stadium.
Admittedly the Robins have, themselves, picked up two victories in the space of a week but they travel badly and have collected just one point from their five fixtures on the road so far so there’s little to suggest they’ll glean anything from their tricky trip to South Yorkshire.
A team given a more realistic quote this week are Preston but Simon Grayson’s charges are nevertheless an attractive proposition at 4/7 via BetVictor.
North End have been impressive at Deepdale this term and although they lost at Peterborough last week, they should bounce back against struggling Crewe, who have been dismal on their travels.
