Following the final declarations for the Aintree showpiece, On His Own remains the 7-1 fav with Coral for the John Smith’s 2013 Grand National. Last year’s third, Seabass, is 9-1 (Bet365) joint second fav to give Katie Walsh a first win in the race for a female jockey, along with stablemate Colbert Station, cut from 12-1 to 10/1 (Betvictor) after he became the chosen mount of AP McCoy.
Coral’s David Stevens commented, “On His Own remains at the head of the betting after the final declarations, but having received AP McCoy’s endorsement, Colbert Station was the major mover towards the head of the betting, while his stablemate, Seabass, so popular with punters twelve months ago, is likely to attract support again on race day.
