The nine point gap the Red Devils now hold over their rivals has seen Fergie’s side cut to 1/10, the shortest price they have ever been at this point in the season in the race for the title.
City’s failure against Liverpool has consequently seen their title odds drift out to 13/2.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told betrescue.com: “They think it’s all over… and although we’ve still got a few months to wait the pendulum is firmly swinging in favour of Fergie collecting No.20 for United.”
