Tues 19.45 & 20.00: West Brom (5/6, Coral) can beat QPR at the second attempt in the FA Cup and Sheff Wed are another potential winner.
Stunned by a dramatic late comeback by Reading at the weekend, West Brom will be keen to make amends for their capitulation as they renew hostilities with QPR in an FA Cup replay and as Rangers’ minds are probably more focused on their survival battle, the Baggies have to be fancied at the Hawthorns.
Steve Clarke’s team were only denied victory in the first meeting by a last-minute leveller and with Harry Redknapp set to make changes, with half an eye on Saturday’s trip to West Ham, the hosts have to be fancied at 5/6 with Coral to get over the finish line on their own patch.
Stoke can also pick up a home victory as they entertain Championship Crystal Palace. The Potters are strong on their own patch, even though their unbeaten run at the Britannia Stadium came to an end at the weekend, and with the Eagles form dipping a touch at the moment, Tony Pulis’ troops are decent value at 4/6 via bet365.
Elsewhere, Brentford’s decent form continued with a League One success at Oldham and Betfred’s 4/5 for the Bees to send League Two Southend packing looks a touch too high.
Meanwhile, buoyed by their impressive 3-1 win at high-flying Hull on Saturday, Sheffield Wednesday are absolutely huge at 23/10 (BetVictor) as they lock horns with MK Dons again. The League One side aren’t exactly tearing up trees at the moment and the Owls have found some form on the road so the odds undoubtedly appear lop-sided ahead of the stadium:mk contest.
