Sebastian Vettel is Ladbrokes’ 5/4 favourite to capture his fourth F1 Drivers Championship in 2013 after he wrapped up this year’s title.
The German did enough in a frantic final race of the season in Brazil to secure his third successive crown and the Red Bull man is the early favourite to retain the prize next year.
Ladbrokes also make Vettel 8/1 to beat Michael Schumacher’s record of seven titles and 2012 runner-up Fernando Alonso is 5/2 to go one better in 2013.
Meanwhile, the Interlagos race, his last for McLaren, was one to forget for Lewis Hamilton, who is 14/1 via Ladbrokes to be crowned champion in his first season with Mercedes.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told Betrescue: “Vettel’s win was a fantastic result for us so we’re in the unusual position of joining in with the celebrations as Alonso was heavily backed all season.”
