Roberto Mancini is 2/5 (Ladbrokes) to have left Manchester City before the season’s end after his side’s Champions League woes continued.
City drew 2-2 at home to Ajax meaning that qualification for the knockout stages is highly and the pressure is increasing on Mancini despite the fact that his team are 11/10 via Ladbrokes to get their hands on a trophy this season.
Subsequently, Ladbrokes have now opened a book on who the next manager at the Etihad Stadium will be, with former Barcelona man Pep Guardiola the 10/11 favourite ahead of 2/1 shot Jose Mourinho.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Betrescue: “The tables have now turned and Mancini is odds-on to be out of a job before the summer. Punters are circling like vultures and the money is already down for Guardiola to take over.”
