Live on Skysports 1: Tue 19.45: At 21/10 via BlueSq, Swindon look a decent bet to cause a Capital One Cup upset as they entertain Brighton.
Swindon clinched the League Two title last season and the ambitious Robins are expected to be there or thereabouts in League One as well so they should pose a stiff test for Brighton at the County Ground, as the pair meet in the Capital One Cup.
Boylesports make the Seagulls 7/5 favourites to get the better of Paulo Di Canio’s men in what should be an entertaining affair given that both sides like to play attractive football, but the hosts managed to get the better of Championship opposition at this stage in the competition last season and as a stronger side now they look overpriced at 21/10 via Blue Square to do so again here.
The number of first round shocks there have been so far, strengthens the case for a Swindon triumph if anything and at a decent price they’re undoubtedly worth an interest. Alternatively, the Robins can be backed at 6/5 in Paddy Power’s ‘Draw No Bet’ market.
Swindon aren’t the only team that could get one over on opposition from the division above, League Two’s Chesterfield look decent value at 8/5 courtesy of Coral, to see off League One Tranmere at the b2net Stadium while Skybet post 11/10 against Plymouth as they entertained troubled Portsmouth.
