West Ham’s Sam Allardyce is Coral’s 10/3 favourite in the Premier League sack race despite leading them to promotion last season.
Despite leading West Ham back to the Premier League on the first asking, Allardyce tops the sack race market as 10/3 fav while Roberto Di Matteo is next at 7/1, ahead of 8/1 Brian McDermott of Reading and 9/1 Tony Pulis of Stoke.
“It illustrates the precarious nature of being a Premier League boss when the early favourites in the ‘Sack race’ betting are two managers who took their teams into the top division and a Champions League winning coach, but that is the reality that faces Allardyce, McDermott and Di Matteo in our opinion,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
