The sixth seed overcame defending champion Petra Kvitova in straight sets in the quarter final to book her place in the last four where, intriguingly, she will meet the second favourite in the outright betting Victoria Azarenka, now a 9/4 chance at bet365 following a 6-3 7-6 last eight triumph over Tamira Paszek.
Williams meanwhile, is 8/13 courtesy of Stan James to reach Saturday’s final at the expense of Azarenka, who is 9/4 at Skybet to get through.
In the other last four showdown, Sportingbet rate Angelique Kerber at 8/11 to see off Agnieszka Radwanska, a 13/10 chance at Boylesports and the pair are available at 11/2 and 7/1 with BetVictor to eventually lift the trophy.
