Fame And Glory is in to 2/1 (from 5/2) with Coral for a repeat win of the Ascot Gold Cup after a winning return at Navan on Sunday.
“Fame And Glory was easy to back in the build-up to the Vintage Crop Stakes, with the money coming for market rival Unaccompanied, but in the race itself Joseph O’Brien always looked in control, and the reigning champion will head to Royal Ascot as the one to beat in the Gold Cup,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Elsewhere, Frankel is 2/5 with Coral to remain unbeaten this year, following his winning return to action at Newbury on Saturday.
“We have been huge Frankel fans since his winning debut, and have kept him onside every time he has run, and having seen him make it a perfect ten from ten, we see no reason to take him on now,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“He looks untouchable at a mile, so the Queen Anne will be at his mercy, but we would still make him odds-on even if stepping up in trip to face the likes of Cirrus Des Aigles or So You Think later in the season,” added Stevens.
