Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday and considers; Kings Lad in the 19.35 at Wincanton. Compare odds and bet
With the ground deteriorating all the time, plus the frustration of siding with the wrong one in the concluding handicap yesterday, I’m staying away from Chester and the day’s selection comes from Wincanton’s evening meeting.
Colin Tizzard’s Kings Lad (7:35) won a bumper at the track on his second start in that sphere and is worth siding with on his debut over timber in the 2m novices’ hurdle.
The son of King’s Theatre won an ordinary contest here in March and probably achieved more when third in a better contest under a penalty last time. He may well have bumped in to a couple of smart sorts that day and should find life easier here on slower ground.
With Solaris Exhibition likely to be popular, the selection maybe available at an each-way price first thing and, if that were the case, like yesterday’s jumper Awaywiththegreys he would look hard to kick out the frame.
Thursday’s selection:
7:35 Wincanton Kings Lad
