Ronnie O’Sullivan is now 8/13 with Stan James to win the World Snooker Championship after winning his last eight scrap with Neil Robertson.
The Rocket triumphed 13-10 against the Aussie to book a place in the semi-final, where he will face Welshman Matthew Stevens, an 11/1 chance with bet365.
Stephen Maguire is Boylesports’ 10/3 second favourite for the Crucible title having eliminated fellow Scot Stephen Hendry at the quarter final stage and Paddy Power price Ali Carter at 7/1.
Stan James’ spokesman Rory Jiwani said, “The winner [of O’Sullivan v Robertson] was always going to be a warm order to go on and take the title and O’Sullivan punished the Australian’s lapses in concentration. He looks as focused as he has done for some time and the most talented player to pick up a cue is now 4/7 to go all the way.”
