Tottenham have been slashed to 1/5 by Stan James to finish in the Premier League’s top four in the wake of their 4-1 victory at Bolton.
Newcastle’s odds have also been cut, to 11/4, after their impressive 2-0 success at Chelsea, whose hopes seem to have vanished with that result.
The Blues are subsequently out to 10/1 via Stan James but it looks like they will have to rely on winning the Champions League final if they are to qualify for that competition next season.
At the other end, Bolton’s loss leaves them in the bottom three, Stan James clipping their relegation odds to even money but QPR remain odds-on at 8/11 for the drop.
Stan James spokesman Rory Jiwani said, “Owen Coyle’s men are now even money to go down as they have, on paper, a slightly easier run-in than QPR who are 8/11 to be relegated. Blackburn are 1/100 to join Wolves in the Championship next season.”
