Shackalackaboomboom and West End Rocker are the two horses getting all the attention ahead of the Grand National, say Ladbrokes
If either of the horses win at 20/1 or 11/1 respectively, Ladbrokes will be shelling out to millions of happy punters. Over £300 million is expected to be bet on the day of the Grand National, the biggest betting day of the year.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Shackalackaboomboom will surely appeal to punters who fancy backing a fancy name.
“There’s always one that excites the punters and with top jockey Barry Geraghty in the saddle, he fits the bill perfectly at 20/1.”
The best backed horse of the week so far has been mud-loving West End Rocker who is now just 11/1 for the National.
“It’ll be a shocker if West End Rocker wins. There’s more rain forecast for Liverpool before the big race and every drop will enhance his chances” added Williams.
