There has been strong support at William Hill for mud-loving runners for the Grand National with Giles Cross right into 11/1 from 20/1.
West End Rocker follows suit by moving into 11/1 from 14’s while According To Pete, winner of the Peter Marsh Chase, is 33’s from 40/1.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “Support has now swung the way of the mudlarks, with particular momentum behind Giles Cross, who has continued to eat into those at the forefront of the betting today”
Little Josh has been consistently popular for the John Smith’s Topham Chase and is now 10-1 second-favourite (from 14-1) behind 8-1 market-leader Triangular, having been available at as big as 33-1 when betting opened.
