With 48 left in for Saturday’s John Smith’s Grand National, Synchronised heads the market with Betfred as the 8/1 fav, ahead of Junior.
The gold Cup winner has been left in following the latest round of declarations and is set for top weight should he go well in his last piece of warm up work this week.
“Synchronised looks all set to attempt to become the first horse since Golden Miller in 1934 to win the Gold Cup and Grand National in the same year and he’ll surely go off favourite should connections give him the go-ahead,” said Betfred spokesman George Primarolo.
Junior is the 10/1 second-favourite ahead of West End Rocker and Ruby Walsh’s mount On His Own, both of whom are priced up at 12/1.
