Live on Skysports 1: Tue 20.00: Liverpool are 11/10 favs (Coral) to see off Premier League strugglers Blackburn but Rovers could nick it.
Three weeks ago Blackburn beat Sunderland 2-0 at Ewood Park and looked at that point to be hauling themselves clear of danger. Three consecutive defeats later and Rovers are right back in relegation trouble and with only three home games remaining for Steve Kean’s men, getting something from the first of those, against Liverpool is vital.
It’s the Reds though, that are Coral’s 11/10 favourites to pick up all the three points but with just one point gleaned from their last four matches, Kenny Dalglish’s men hardly arrive in the best of shape and as they might have an eye on Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Everton, they look a touch skinny at that price.
Liverpool look a touch vulnerable then and subsequently, Blackburn are overpriced at 14/5 with BetVictor and in front of their own supporters, if Rovers play with a high intensity, they could edge this one.
For the cautious, bet365 quote Kean’s charges at 13/8 ‘Draw No Bet’ while bolder punters can tackle Ladbrokes’ 9/2 for the hosts to shade it by a one-goal margin.
Recommended Bets:
