Chelsea have been cut to 8/1 by Stan James for the Champions League after victory in Benfica while Everton are 4/1 for the FA Cup.
Chelsea recorded an excellent 1-0 win at Benfica to take a massive step towards a semi final berth in the Champions League and they have been cut by Stan James, from 10/1 to 8’s.
The firm’s Rory Jiwani says, “Chelsea are 8/1 from 10/1 for the Champions League after Salomon Kalou’s goal gave them a first-leg lead and a valuable away goal in Lisbon. We haven’t reacted too greatly as holders and tournament favourites Barcelona are their most likely semi-final opponents.
“Real Madrid remain 15/8 second favourites after they broke down APOEL’s stubborn resistance with three goals in the last 16 minutes in Nicosia.
“Tottenham are now 9/4 joint-favourites with Liverpool for the FA Cup after brushing aside Bolton at White Hart Lane. Harry Redknapp’s men will face Chelsea in the last four. And Everton set up an all-Merseyside semi-final after knocking out Sunderland at the Stadium of Light with David Moyes’ side the 4/1 outsiders for the cup.”
