Live on Eurosport: Mon 07.30 & 12.30: Ding Junhui is 12/1 with BetVictor to win this week’s China Open and thrill the home fans.
Ding Junhui has not won the China Open since 2005 and looks to go one better than his 2010 runners-up place. BetVictor put 12/1 on the Chinese potter coming good this time and admittedly he faces a potential tie with 8/1 Mark Selby (Skybet) in the next round but should he progress there, he has every chance of the title.
Judd Trump is the defending champion at 11/2 (Betfred) and he looks a good bet. He will likely have to face 2010 champion Mark Williams (12/1, Ladbrokes) but he has the class to make the final.
Ronnie O’Sullivan is not worth considering at 15/2 (Blue Square) as he enters another tricky phase. He has pulled out of recent events through illness and is again reported to be unhappy with snooker. Stick with Ding and Trump.
