Live on Skysports 1: Tue 20.00: Liverpool and Everton are 13/5 (Skybet) to draw in the Premier League and a penalty could be awarded.
Despite having picked up just two wins in eleven Premier League matches, Liverpool are odds-on at 4/5 with Blue Square to get the better of neighbours Everton in the Merseyside derby but with the Toffees in decent form at present, the Reds are a touch too risky at that price, even though they enjoy home advantage.
David Moyes’ men, Boylesports’ 17/4 outsiders, are unbeaten in nine outings in all competitions but have drawn all three of their away games in that sequence and as Kenny Dalglish’s team have shared the spoils in eight of their 13 encounters at Anfield, Skybet’s 13/5 for it to finish all square stands out.
Ladbrokes mark 6/1 against a 1-1 stalemate between the two local rivals and in what is likely to be a scrappy, frenetic, low-scoring contest that isn’t without appeal. Indiscipline meanwhile, often dogs these derby battles and with that in mind, William Hill’s 3/1 for a penalty to be awarded at some stage is worth considering. Alternatively, the same bookie offers 11/4 for a red card to be brandished.
