Wed 19.45: Coral’s 1/6 favourites Celtic and Motherwell, at 3/4 (William Hill) look like home bankers against the SPL’s bottom two.
Sunday’s emphatic 5-0 success at Hibs means Celtic have now won 18 domestic matches on the spin and it’s hard to see that run coming to an end as the Hoops entertain rock-bottom Dunfermline.
The bookies agree and as a result Coral’s 1/6 is the best price available for Neil Lennon’s men while BetVictor rate the Pars at 25/1. Admittedly, all four of the visitors’ victories this term have come on the road but at Parkhead Celtic have conceded just six times in 13 outings so Jim McIntrye’s really have a mountain to climb.
Indeed it’s hard to see the Pars even finding the net, so a home win ‘to nil’ appeals at 8/11 via Skybet and in the handicaps Stan James penalise the Hoops by a goal at odds of 2/5.
At Fir Park, William Hill quote Motherwell at 3/4 to send hapless Hibs home empty-handed and like Celtic the Steelmen can prevail by at least two clear goals so they’re worth considering at 15/8 in Blue Square’s handicaps where they kick off a goal behind.
A handicap double on Celtic and Motherwell meanwhile pays at 10/3 (Skybet).
Recommended Bets:
Double on Celtic (-1) and Motherwell (-1) in the handicaps – 10/3 (Skybet)
