After an upbeat bulletin from Willie Mullins, punters have backed Hurricane Fly into 8/11 with Stan James for the Champion Hurdle.
Stan James’ spokesman Rory Jiwani says, “The money came after Willie Mullins said Hurricane Fly was ‘jumping out of his skin at the moment’ and we’ve had to trim the favourite in from 4/5 to 8/11.
“Mullins is set for another excellent opening day to the Festival with Quevega appearing to have a clear path to a fourth David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle. With Unaccompanied not travelling to Cheltenham and Colm Murphy saying Voler La Vedette is World Hurdle-bound, Quevega is now 4/6 from 4/5 to retain her title.
“If you fancy both Hurricane Fly and Quevega, StanJames.com are offering 2/1 that both retain their crowns.”
