Coral have shortened Zarkander to 5/2 fav (in from 10/3) for Saturday’s Betfair Hurdle, following support for the Triumph Hurdle winner
“Although Zarkandar hasn’t been seen in public since Aintree last April, the form of his Triumph Hurdle win looks strong, and weather permitting, he will start hot favourite for Saturday’s race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Elsewhere, Jessies Dream, who had been 7/1 fourth favourite for Sunday’s Irish Hennessy, has been ruled out of the Leopardstown race, and could miss the rest of the season, according to trainer Gordon Elliott.
