Bolton v Liverpool
BOLTON’s ‘keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen (thigh) is back in training but is not fit enough to play and David N’Gog is likely to be recalled to face his old club but Ricardo Gardner (knee) is not ready. LIVERPOOL will assess the fitness of doubtful midfielder Jay Spearing (hamstring), Luis Suarez remains suspended but Daniel Agger should return to central defence, replacing Jamie Carragher.
Everton v Blackburn
Phil Jagielka (knee) is definitely out for EVERTON, who must assess the fitness of a number of players including Tony Hibbert (groin) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) and Shane Duffy will retain his place should Sylvain Distin (hamstring) not make it. Yakubu is suspended for BLACKBURN so Anthony Modeste could make a debut while Ryan Nelsen (knee) is out but Scott Dann returns.
Fulham v Newcastle
FULHAM have no fresh injuries to deal with as Mark Schwarzer (back) and Zdenek Grygera (knee) are the only absentees while Moussa Dembele is expected to make a recovery and return to the line-up. Yohan Cabaye (ankle) is a doubt for NEWCASTLE while striker Nile Ranger (foot) sits out and Demba Ba, Cheik Tiote and new signing Papiss Cisse are all at the African Cup.
Norwich v Chelsea
On- loan Ritchie De Laet has left NORWICH while reserve ‘keeper Declan Rudd (knee) is out along with James Vaughan and Elliot Ward (both knee). CHELSEA new-boy Gary Cahill will likely find the bench as Branislav Ivanovic returns to defence and Michael Essien makes a long awaited comeback but striker Didier Drogba is at the Africa Cup and John Obi Mikel (hamstring) is out.
QPR v Wigan
QPR captain Joey Barton is back from suspension but Daniel Gabbidon (hip) is doubtful, Kieron Dyer (foot) remains out while Adel Taarabt and Armand Traore are on Africa Cup duty. WIGAN lose Mohamed Diame to international duty and fellow midfielder David Jones (calf) looks likely to miss out while Shaun Maloney (calf) is not ready to return but there are no other injuries.
Stoke v West Brom
STOKE have only two concerns going into the weekend as Ryan Shotton (foot) remains touch and go and Rory Delap (calf) is likely to sit out while Mamady Sidibe (knee) is out long-term. There is mixed news for Roy Hodgson as WEST BROM welcome back Jonas Olsson but Paul Scharner (Achilles) is out so Graham Dorrans could step in but Chris Brunt (ankle) is injured.
Sunderland v Swansea
Wes Brown returns to the SUNDERLAND defence but Matt Kilgallon and Jack Colback (both ankle) are sidelined and Frazier Campbell is likely to remain on the bench as he builds fitness. SWANSEA’s loan signings Josh McEachran and Gylfi Sigurdsson are likely to get starting berths and Brendan Rodgers has no new injury concerns but Alan Tate (fitness) is not ready yet.
Wolves v Aston Villa
Defenders Roger Johnson and Kevin Foley return for WOLVES after missing out during the week, as does winger Matt Jarvis, but Jamie O’Hara (hernia) is doubtful along with Dave Edwards (knock). Robbie Keane is likely to get his first ASTON VILLA start as Emile Heskey (Achilles) is still sidelined and Chris Herd (ankle) also sits out while Eric Lichaj (hip) is out long-term.
Arsenal v Man United – Sun
ARSENAL will give Thierry Henry (calf) a late fitness test while Mikel Arteta (calf) and Kieran Gibbs (hernia) are out, Gervinho is at the Africa Cup and Abou Diaby (knock) is very doubtful but Thomas Vermaelen returns. MAN UNITED’s Phil Jones and Chris Smalling return but Anderson (knock) sits out along with Ashley Young (ankle), Nemanja Vidic (knee) and Fabio (hamstring).
Man City v Tottenham – Sun
Mario Balotelli and Micah Richards are available for MAN CITY but they are without the suspended Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure or Kolo Toure, who are on international duty. TOTTENHAM are very unlikely to play Ledley King (hamstring), Sandro and William Gallas (calf) are both out and Emmanuel Adebayor is ineligible for selection so Jermain Defoe will step in.
