Live on Skysports 2: Sat 17.20: Reading are 13/8 (BetVictor) to beat Watford in the Championship but the Hornets could nick it.
Watford are only four places above the Championship relegation having won only seven of their 25 matches this term so play-off hopefuls Reading are BetVictor’s 13/8 favourites ahead of the pair’s televised showdown at Vicarage Road.
However, the Hornets haven’t lost a home match since the middle of October and with the Royals looking a touch vulnerable having suffered back-to-back league and cup defeats at the hands of Cardiff and Stevenage respectively, Sean Dyche’s side have been underestimated somewhat.
Watford look huge then at 19/10 via Betfred but with a close encounter on the cards bold punters could help themselves to even bigger rewards if they take a risk on Ladbrokes’ 7/2 for the hosts to come out on top by a one-goal margin.
Cardiff have only suffered two defeats on the road this season, in 13 matches and although seven of those matches have ended in stalemate, the Bluebirds look decent value at 11/10 (Coral) to boost their promotion hopes by collecting a maximum haul at struggling Doncaster.
Admittedly, Malky Mackay’s troops went down to Crystal Palace 1-0 in the Carling Cup in midweek but they can count themselves a touch unfortunate to have not secured at least a draw in that clash and they’ll be keen to bounce back at a Rovers side whose last home match ended in a cup upset against League One Notts County.
