Arsenal v Everton
Manuel Almunia returns to ARSENAL’s goal as Vito Mannone (shoulder) and Lukas Fabianski (knee) are both injured and left-back Andre Santos (ankle) joins Abou Diaby (hamstring) and Kieran Gibbs (hernia) out. EVERTON’s Jack Rodwell (hamstring) is sidelined again and Leon Osman (hamstring) joins him but Royston Drenthe and Louis Saha are fit to play.
Bolton v Aston Villa
BOLTON’s Gary Cahill is cleared to play after an overturned ban but David Wheater serves a ban while Joe Riley (leg) is out and Nigel Reo-Coker (hamstring) is doubtful. ‘Keeper Brad Guzan makes his first league start for ASTON VILLA, replacing the injured Shay Given (hamstring), Eric Lichaj (hip) isn’t ready to return and Jermaine Jenas (Achilles) is out for the season remainder.
Liverpool v QPR
Jay Spearing begins his ban for LIVERPOOL, Steven Gerrard (ankle) won’t be returning and Lucas Leiva (knee) is out for the season so Jordan Henderson is likely to slot into midfield. At QPR, Radek Cerny continues in goal as Paddy Kenny (leg) is still out, along with striker DJ Campbell and Kieron Dyer (both foot), but Matthew Connolly is in line for a recall after training all week.
Man United v Wolves
MAN UNITED have been dealt a blow in defence as Nemanja Vidic (knee) misses the season remainder and he joins Tom Cleverley and Javier Hernandez (both ankle) in the treatment room but Michael Carrick returns from suspension. WOLVES midfielder Karl Henry is back in the side after his ban but Jody Craddock (hamstring) will not recover so Roger Johnson could step in.
Norwich v Newcastle
Zak Whitbread could end his long absence for NORWICH this weekend if selected but there are no new injuries with James Vaughan (knee) and Ritchie De Laet (back) still ruled out. NEWCASTLE are struggling at the back as Steven Taylor (Achilles) and Mike Williamson (arm) are out and Fabricio Coloccini (thigh) is very doubtful but Jonas Gutierrez returns from suspension.
Swansea v Fulham
SWANSEA’s Joe Allen is suspended so either Wayne Routledge or fit again Kemy Agustien will step in and striker Danny Graham also returns to the side but Angel Rangel (ankle) is still sidelined. Danny Murphy has made a rapid recovery for FULHAM and looks set to play this weekend and Simon Davies is in line for the bench but Damien Duff (calf) and Chris Baird (personal) are out.
West Brom v Wigan
WEST BROM boss Roy Hodgson is without Zoltan Gera (knee) until next season but has no fresh absences so Shane Long is likely to play despite a persistent groin injury. WIGAN defender Antolin Alcaraz comes back into the side after suspension and Emmerson Boyce is also fit again meaning Roberto Martinez has a fully fit squad and he may include striker Hugo Rodallega.
Stoke v Tottenham – Sun
Jermaine Pennant and Rory Delap missed out for STOKE last weekend but both are in contention after recovering, as is ‘keeper Thomas Sorensen, but Andy Wilkinson (back) is a doubt. TOTTENHAM will have to give fitness tests to Jermain Defoe (hamstring) and Gareth Bale (foot) and Ledley King (knee) is also a doubt while Jermaine Jenas (Achilles) is out until next season.
Sunderland v Blackburn – Sun
New SUNDERLAND manager Martin O’Neill is without Lee Cattermole (suspended), Connor Wickham (knee), Simon Mignolet (face) and Craig Gordon (knee) but Nicklas Bendtner is likely to feature. BLACKBURN are without the suspended Steven N’Zonzi while Martin Olsson (hamstring) and Ruben Rochina will be assessed late on but Ryan Nelsen (fitness) is out again.
Chelsea v Man City – Mon
CHELSEA defender David Luiz serves a one-game ban while Josh McEachran (ankle) needs another week recovering and Michael Essien (knee) will be out until the New Year. MAN CITY’s Micah Richards (calf) is not expected to shake off his injury by Monday and either Stefan Savic or Pablo Zabaleta will slot into right-back while on the other side, Aleksandar Kolarov (groin) is out.
