Since arriving back in the SPL, St Johnstone’s record against Hearts has been impressive. They’ve lost only twice in seven meetings and reasserted their authority with a 2-0 home win two months ago. Interestingly, only one team has scored in four of those seven duels.

Last weekend’s confidence-boosting fightback at Dunfermline may have been own goal-assisted, but it will have given Aberdeen hope of improving what is the SPL’s worst away record when they travel to Kilmarnock tomorrow.
Killie have won four of the pair’s last seven encounters and are Skybet’s 13/10 favourites to secure maximum points. Betfred post 6/1 about a 1-0 home win while Betdaq price a 2-0 Killie success at 11.0 (10/1).
Inverness celebrated a rare 2-1 victory when they hosted St Mirren in September, so continuing a trend that has been a feature of this fixture over the recent past. Prior to this success, each of the previous six duels between the two had either finished level or been settled by a single goal. St Mirren, thumped 5-0 by Celtic at Parkhead last weekend, start as Partybets’ clear 11/10 favourites, whereas Inverness are Sportingbet’s 3/1 outsiders. It’s easy to see why. Even when opening the scoring, as they have on six occasions this term, Inverness have lost all six; they’re 7/5 (Paddy Power) to notch the opener tomorrow, while bet365 chalk 4/5 about both teams scoring. Punters not bowled over by Rangers’ 2/11 odds to overhaul Dunfermline tomorrow may prefer the 4/6 posted by Boylesports about them winning and retaining a clean sheet. Rangers have kept 10 clean sheets this term, winning on nine occasions. Alternatively, bet365’s 13/10 for Rangers to win when kicking off with a two-goal deficit appears worthy of consideration.
Finally, Celtic have scored 12 goals against Dundee United in their last three meetings, hence Stan James’s 2/1 for tomorrow’s fixture to yield more than 3.5 goals has obvious appeal. United are 11/2 (Betfred) to secure three points, while Celtic are 11/1 (Sportingbet) to record a 3-1 victory.
