Vettel 4/5 To Retain Title

Mark Webber is a 12/1 chance with Ladbrokes to win the 2012 F1 season while current champion Sebastien Vettel is 4/5 favourite.

Button and Hamilton were responsible for most pre-race support throughout the 2011 season and Ladbrokes have enjoyed one of their best ever seasons in F1.

Vettel is 4/5 to retain his crown while three drivers, Alonso, Hamilton and Button, are all 5/1 and Webber comes in at 12/1.

Red Bull are the 10/11 favourites in the Constructor’s betting from McLaren at 6/4 and Ferrari at 6/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Despite his dominance we were cheering Vettel in most of his races. Punters couldn’t get enough of the British drivers in outright and race markets.”

He added: “We expect the penny to drop soon however and envisage having to keep Vettel on side for most of next season.”
