Paul Ferguson starts the week with Gift Of Dgab, a 13/8 chance in the 13:10 at Plumpton. Compare odds.
Tony Martin and Gigginstown House Stud enjoyed Grade 1 success courtesy of Bog Warrior yesterday and the same connections can take the Totepool Novices’ Chase at Plumpton with Gift Of Dgab (1:10) this afternoon.
A useful novice hurdler last term, the seven-year-old looked a different proposition when making a hugely impressive winning debut over fences at Limerick last month and looks the type to make his mark in better company.
The selection relishes soft ground and led from the start last time, jumping his rivals in to the ground. His front-running style should be well suited around the tight track at Plumpton and he could be hard to peg back.
Monday’s selection:
1:10 Plumpton: Gift Of Dgab (13/8 Betfred)
