After a chasing debut win at Cheltenham, Al Ferof has been cut from 10/1 to 5/1 by Stan James for the Arkle Chase next March.
StanJames.com spokesman Rory Jiwani says, “That was certainly an impressive performance from the reigning Supreme Novice hurdler. Ruby Walsh had an armchair ride and when he asked for a response on the run for home, Al Ferof obliged willingly.
“Trainer Paul Nicholls said beforehand that his six-year-old would come on for this race, so we think 5/1 is a fair price for what is shaping up to be one of the best Arkles in recent memory.”
