Neither Burnley nor Blackpool can conjure up any consistency at present and indeed ahead of the pair’s meeting at Turf Moor, the Clarets’ home record mirrors the away form of the Seasiders. There’s little to separate the pair then but leaving aside their Carling Cup defeat to Cardiff on Tuesday, it’s the hosts that come into the clash in slightly better shape.

Admittedly, one game doesn’t make a ‘run’ but on home soil and boosted by last week’s victory, Burnley get the nod at 11/8 with Totesport.
At Vicarage Road, Peterborough look overpriced at 13/8 with Boylesports as they tackle a Watford side on a wretched run. The Hornets have struggled at home all season and have now lost four on the spin to boot. The last of those defeats will have really hit Sean Dyche’s men hard given that they led twice at Hull before eventually succumbing to a last minute Robert Koren winner.
Confidence is at rock-bottom in the Watford camp then and Posh, who have won their last couple on the road, can capitalise.
In-form Birmingham meanwhile, have racked up six straight victories in all competitions, form in stark contrast to that of Brighton, who are winless in seven Championship outings and the Blues look decent value at 6/5 (Coral) to extend their run.
