Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Monty Bodkin in the 2.15 at Huntingdon. | Free Bets |
Disappointing on his first start over hurdles, Monty Bodkin (2:15) is given another chance on the back of a 103-day break and a wind-op. His bumper form – well, two of his three runs at least – read well, with his second behind Celtic Dino on debut and his defeat of the 121-rated Tom Domiphon confirming that he is a horse with plenty of ability. Reverting to a flatter track on better ground should help and he gets the vote ahead of Nicky Henderson’s Nativehill, who holds an Albert Bartlett entry.
Sunday’s selection:
2:15 Huntingdon – Monty Bodkin; 10/3 William Hill
