Just four go to post for the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle on Sunday and although Teahupoo is greatly respected as he goes in search of a hat-trick in the Grade 1, preference is for the mare Lossiemouth (2:40). Last season’s Mares’ Hurdle winner has the superior speed and under the likely prevailing conditions, I suspect that she will track the odds-on favourite in an attempt to pick him off in the closing stages.
Earlier on the card, Romeo Coolio (1:35) is fancied to win the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle, having impressed on debut at Down Royal last month. Runner-up in the Champion Bumper, he won here on Rules debut and ought to be difficult to beat under Jack Kennedy.
