Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Sunday; Ace Of Spades in the 1.50 at Uttoxeter and Gorgeous Tom in the 4.50 at Tipperary. | Free Bets
A winner at the Punchestown Festival last spring, Gorgeous Tom (4:50) made the best possible start over fences and conditions should be in his favour at Tipperary on Sunday. The six-year-old wants an intermediate trip on decent ground and the tight track shouldn’t pose him any issues, as he isn’t short of speed.
Division two of the maiden hurdle from Uttoxeter looks to be a good race between bumper winners Ace Of Spades (1:50) and Electric Avenue. The former gets marginal preference with the Skelton stable among the winners of late and he appeared to appreciate relatively decent ground when winning on his third start at Warwick in late-April. Chris Gordon’s runner was last seen finishing mid-division in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree and is sure to win races in this sphere.
Sunday’s selections:
1:50 Uttoxeter – Ace Of Spades; 9/4 Bet365
4:50 Tipperary – Gorgeous Tom; 2/1 Ladbrokes
