Premier League Golden Boot Odds

Harry Kane led England to the final of the 2020 European Championship and the striker is now the 7/2 favourite with BetVictor to be the 2021/22 Premier League top scorer, having finished top of the scoring charts last season when notching twenty-three goals for Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane has declared his intention of leaving Spurs this summer although the bookies anticipate that he’s the most likely player to win the EPL Golden Boot irrespective of where he winds up, with the Three Lions skipper expected to remain in England.

Mohamed Salah only finished a goal behind his scoring rival and the Liverpool forward has enjoyed a phenomenal record since arriving from Roma, with the Egyptian having won the Golden Boot prize in 2018 and 2019, while he was fifth in 2020 before a runner-up slot last term.

Salah is 11/2 with William Hill to record the most goals and will be on spot kicks for a resurgent Liverpool side, while Raheem Sterling is next in the betting and this could be a breakthrough campaign for a forward who was among the leading scorers at Euro 2020 after running riot for England.

Sterling is currently a best price 10/1 with BetVictor although he could be subject to rotation and the same applies to Timo Werner at Chelsea, with the German having been unconvincing in front of goal last term although the bookies are expecting a far stronger showing this time around.

Werner is a 14/1 poke with Betfred to finish top of the pile, although preference is for his compatriot Kai Havertz at a much bigger price, with the former Bayer Leverkusen forward having scored the winner in the Champions League final and BetVictor have 100/1 that he delivers the goods.

Arsenal will hope for a better season and the goal trail will surely be spearheaded by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the Gabon forward available at 25/1 with Ladbrokes and that could be a big price if the Gunners get their act together which will surely happen whether it’s with Mikel Arteta in charge or not.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin barely got a sniff for England during Euro 2020 although perhaps the young striker will thrive for Everton under the management of Rafael Benitez, with William Hill chalking up 33/1 about the striker, while Richarlison is 100/1 and was part of the Brazil Copa America team.
