Huntingdon stages a decent card on Tuesday and FLIGHT DECK (13:00) is fancied to defy top-weight in division one of the novices’ handicap chase.
Jonjo O’Neill’s well-bred six-year-old won with a bit to spare on his final outing last season, and the form has been franked since. Easier ground would probably suit ideally, but he appeals as a progressive type who can make a winning chase debut.
Of the opposition, Oscar Robertson is greatly respected. In fact, it’s a shame they ended up in the same division.
