There is no jumps action sadly on Tuesday, but Leicester stages a decent little handicap over an extended 1m3f. The market is headed by Brentford Hope who looked good when winning his maiden last year and might just appreciate this autumnal ground.
However, he faces a couple of rivals with strong handicap form in the book, in the shape of Win O’Clock and Rhythmic Intent (2:20), and the latter gets the marginal vote.
An easy winner on soft ground at Newbury on his penultimate start, Stuart Williams’ four-year-old then ran a sound fourth in the Old Borough Cup at Haydock. Dropping back in trip is a slight negative, but we know that he will relish the ground, and off the same mark as last time, should find this a slightly easier assignment.
