Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Mustang Alpha in the Cartmel 12:45. Compare odds and bet.
In the hope that Cartmel hasn’t had too much rain Mustang Alpha (12:45) is taken to land the opening novices’ hurdle on Sunday.
Jamie Snowden’s five-year-old had impressed me when winning his Point-to-Point in Ireland, and after disappointing in a Cheltenham bumper last October, he shaped more promisingly when third in a maiden hurdle at Huntingdon. The son of Stowaway ideally wants a decent surface and he has had a wind-op since last seen (also wears a tongue-tie). Snowden has had a couple of winners this week, so everything looks in place and the selection can make the long journey worthwhile.
Sunday’s selection:
12:45 Cartmel – Mustang Alpha; 6/5 BetVictor
