Market Rasen’s concluding bumper looks a decent event on Sunday, with recent course-and-distance winner Socialist Agenda greatly respected.
He is only four, however, and has to carry a penalty, so preference is for The Bees Knees (4:00) in the hope that he is available at an each-way price, for Fergal O’Brien and Max Kendrick.
The five-year-old was a winner at the third time of asking in Irish Points, having earlier matched strides with Sir Gerhard for a long way before falling, and he again shaped with promise on his Rules debut at Huntingdon. I expect him to go well here, with his stable in good form.
