Saturday looks a fairly quiet day from a punting perspective, but Cold Front (4:10) looks on a fair enough mark for his handicap debut over 7f at Goodwood.
William Haggas’ son of Lope de Vega made all and scored in style at Haydock last month, and it is hoped that he can get to the lead again here (there are another couple of pace angles in the race). If he does, he might prove difficult to peg back, although drying ground is a slight concern. He opened up 9-2 on Thursday afternoon.
