It’s Tattersalls Gold Cup day over at the Curragh, where Winner Takes Itall (3:30) is fancied to land the premier handicap over 1m2f.
Stepping back up in distance is sure to suit Joseph O’Brien’s lightly-raced five-year-old, who ran out an impressive maiden winner last time. That form was franked when the third won next time and he appeals as the type to land a nice prize on the Flat, before he will presumably return to hurdling later in the year.
